Author Guidlines

Authors are kindly requested to follow the guidelines below when submitting manuscripts to NUMED (Nusantara Mathematics Education). These instructions are intended to ensure the quality, consistency, and smooth processing of all submitted manuscripts.


1. Manuscript Scope

NUMED accepts original research articles, development research, case studies, and literature reviews in the field of mathematics education, including but not limited to:

  • Teaching and learning strategies in mathematics

  • Curriculum development

  • Assessment and evaluation

  • Mathematical thinking and reasoning

  • Technology integration

  • Ethnomathematics

  • Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)

  • Teacher training and professional development


2. Language

Manuscripts can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Authors must ensure that the manuscript is free from grammatical and typographical errors. Use academic language that is clear and concise.


3. Manuscript Format

  • Length: 4,000–7,000 words (including references)

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Page Setup:

    • Paper size: A4

    • Margin: 2.5 cm on all sides

    • Line spacing: 1.15

    • Font: Times New Roman, size 12

    • Paragraph: Justified

  • Referencing Style: APA 7th edition


4. Manuscript Structure

Title

  • Maximum 15 words

  • Should reflect the content clearly and concisely

Author(s) and Affiliation

  • Include full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses of all authors

  • The corresponding author should be clearly indicated

Abstract

  • 150–250 words

  • Written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

  • Contains: background, purpose, method, results, and conclusion

Keywords

  • 3–5 keywords, separated by semicolons

Introduction

  • Background, problem formulation, objectives, relevant literature

Method

  • Research design, participants, instruments, data collection and analysis

Results and Discussion

  • Present findings clearly, supported by tables or figures if needed

  • Discuss findings in relation to previous research

Conclusion

  • Summary of findings, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research

References

  • Minimum 20 references, 80% from the last 10 years

  • At least 40% from reputable journals (Scopus/WoS/SINTA 1–2)


5. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system at:
???? https://journal.insasi.com/index.php/numed

Authors must register and log in before submitting. Only manuscripts submitted via the system will be processed.


6. Ethical Considerations

  • The manuscript must be original, not under review elsewhere, and free of plagiarism

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the content

  • All data involving human subjects must include appropriate ethical clearance


7. Article Processing Charge (APC)

Currently, NUMED does not charge any submission or publication fees.


8. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
