Open Acces Policy

NUMED (Numeracy Education Journal) provides immediate open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles published in this journal are available to readers free of charge and can be accessed, read, downloaded, and distributed without any financial, legal, or technical barriers, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Key Points of Our Open Access Policy:

  • No Article Processing Charge (APC): Authors are not required to pay any fees for submission, processing, or publication.

  • Free and Permanent Access: All articles are available online immediately upon publication without subscription or registration.

  • Reuse Rights: Published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits users to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, provided proper attribution is given to the original source.

  • Author Retains Copyright: Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

  • Archiving: The journal uses LOCKSS/CLOCKSS and other archiving systems to ensure permanent availability and preservation of its content.

Why Open Access?

We believe that open access accelerates the discovery and application of research, increases citation and visibility for authors, and promotes equity in access to knowledge—especially for researchers in developing countries.
